SAN DIEGO -- Crews from Air Stations San Diego and Sacramento conducted a medical evacuation of a 72-year-old male from a the cruise ship Oosterdam, 70 miles east of Isla De Guadalupe, Mexico.

The intial report from the cruise ship was received by Air Station Sacramento at 12:00 p.m. Friday of a man suffering from internal bleeding. A Coast Guard flight surgeon determined the man would require a medical evacuation, and crews from both air stations were dispatched to the location.
