Coast Guard responds to overloaded migrant vessel

SAN DIEGO - The U.S. Coast Guard rescued 21 illigal migrants when their 25-foot panga was disabled and overloaded with 21 people onboard, 28 miles west of Del Mar, Calif., March 19, 2009. The Cutter Haddock, an 87-foot patrol boat, safely transferred all 21 people and towed the panga back to Sector San Diego. The migrants were transferred to U.S. Border Patrol agents.(U.S. Coast Guard Video/PA2 Jetta H. Disco)
