1 deceased, 4 rescued in boating incident SAN DIEGO — The body of a missing fisherman was found at 11:34 a.m., near the Coronado Islands, Mexico, after a four-hour joint agency search. Harbor Police divers discovered the missing passenger aboard the fishing vessel that had capsized at approximately 4:00 a.m. The Coast Guard, San Diego Harbor Police, San Diego Life Guards and the Mexican Navy worked together to coordinate search efforts for the missing person. The fishermen were on a 30-foot fishing vessel, when it capsized. The Coast Guard Joint Harbor Operations Center (JHOC) was contacted by the good Samaritan vessel Connie Sea, which recovered two people and then transferred them to a 33-foot rescue boat from Coast Guard Station San Diego. The two other people aboard the capsized vessel swam to shore ### Saving Lives and Guarding the Coast Since 1790.
