SAN DIEGO  A crew from Coast Guard Sector San Diego hoisted and transported a 28-year-old man from the fishing vessel Eileen 98 miles west of San Diego, after receiving a report that he was experiencing severe abdominal pain and needed immediate medical attention, Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009. SAN DIEGO - The U.S. Coast Guard medically evacuates a 28-year-old man almost 100 miles west of San Diego Thursday, Sep. 3, 2009. A crewmember aboard the fishing vessel Eileen began experiencing abdominal pain early in the morning, and the Coast Guard flight surgeon suggested the man be taken off the boat for immediate medical attention.
