Coast Guard medevacs injured Navy Seal

SAN DIEGO — An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Coast Guard Sector San Diego transported an injured Navy Seal from San Clemente Island to Naval Medical Center San Diego Saturday afternoon. 

The Coast Guard received the request for medevac just before 1 p.m., stating that the 22-year-old man had a dislocated jaw.

The helicopter launched from Sector and transported the man from Branch Medical Clinic on San Clemente Island, Calif., to the Naval Medical Center at 2 p.m.
