SAN DIEGO – Cmdr. Daniel LeBlanc, along with members who make up the San Diego Contingency Plan, talks with media members at Sector San Diego May 3, 2010. The committee, comprised of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, California Department of Fish and Game’s Office of Oil Spill Prevention and Response (OSPER), National Response Corporation (NRC) and Volunteer San Diego, held a joint media availability to talk with the media about what would be involved in an oil spill response should one happen in San Diego.
